Frequently Asked Questions

What can’t I put in a dumpster?

By law, we cannot accept any toxic/hazardous waste (paint, herbicides, pesticides, asbestos, chemicals, oil, tires, fuels, electronics or appliances with Freon).

Is there a weight limit?

Yes! 10 yard containers have a 2 ton weight limit, 15 yard containers have a 3 ton weight limit, and 30 yard containers have a 5 ton weight limit. If you are loading heavy materials such as dirt, rock, concrete, brick, sod, shingles, or asphalt you will have to contact Elite’s office for instructions on loading your Denver roll-off container. All overweight loads will be charged $75.00 per ton over weight limit.

Can I fill the container to the top?

All materials must be inside your Denver roll-off container, nothing over the top of container. By law we are required to tarp each load for transport. If you have heavy materials such as dirt, rock, concrete, brick, sod, or asphalt, please contact our team to find out how much can fit inside the container. All materials that exceed the top must be removed. We cannot pick up a container that is over full. You will be responsible for removing excess and a $75.00 return trip fee will be charged to return and pick-up container.

How long can I keep the container?

The price includes a rental period of up to 7 days for 10, 15, 20, and 30 yard containers. You may extend the rental period for a additional $80 per week. (maximum of 2 extensions)

After 7 days of non-action we will add an additional fee of $50 per week of inactivity.
